These guys are a little pricey but their service and the work itself make them worth it. I don’t have the time to deal with the bs of other contractors, so I went with J Brown Painting. I’m happy I did. Job looks incredible.

J Brown Painting did a great job painting the exterior of our home. We did a complete color change and are very happy with the results. The owner was supportive when we were uncertain about the color choice. The foreman and his team were very professional. The work was done in a timely manner. We recommend this company hands down!

Convenience is everything! These guys called me back the same day I requested an estimate, showed up for the bid the next day, gave me a price and a thorough break down of the prep work to be done and paint to be used, sent me a contract the same day, and gave me a firm date for when they could do the work. I loved how on top of it Justin was so I hired him! And just like Justin, his crew was sharp too. They carefully prepared my home and didn't drag the job on like some contractors do.I will say these guys weren't the cheapest, but I'm not one of those guys that tries to squeeze people for the lowest price they can get. I believe the guy that gives you the very low bid does that just to secure the job, but will skip steps and get their money back one way or another. So as long as the price seems fair, I'd rather just hire a company like J Brown Painting who does what they say and has a good reputation. Thank you Justin and Robert!

Justin was an absolute pleasure to work with and his crew did great work. We had a huge project for them (entire exterior with lots of craftsman detail) and we are super happy with the result. Communication was top notch both with Justin and the foreman onsite everyday. Definitely recommend!!

Very professional, very high quality paint job with an excellent, responsive, day-to-day foreman whose son is part of the crew. Crew kept things super clean! I used hourly (versus bid) work and would use bid next time as the actual hours were more than we'd initally planned for. Advise you know exactly what you want before Justin visits so that he can offer bid work. My uncertainty led to hours + materials pricing. That said, the hourly rate was very fair and I felt there was great value in the job.

I reached out to J Brown Painting since I wanted to repaint several rooms of my condo. This definitely wasn't the cheapest bid, but I didn't want to go with the lowest bidder when it comes to my place. The responsiveness, scheduling and receiving a bid was an easy process to follow and made this painting company that much more worth the extra expense. I highly recommend using this painting contractor if you want a nice finish and quality work. I was squeezed in on a weekend, and I got the job done ahead of schedule thanks to Robert and two additional painters coming to paint.

We’ve had a lot of work done to our house and have been through a lot of contractors so we know what to look for. We got a lot of bids to paint the outside of our 3 story home. We got cheaper bids, but we’ve been down that road before and regretted hiring the cheapest guy. We ended up using J Brown Painting despite them being the slightly higher bid because of their impressive body of work in our neighborhood and Justin’s attention to detail and responsiveness. We knew if there was a problem, one text to Justin or convo with his foreman, problem solved. Hire these guys and avoid the headaches of no shows, schedule pushbacks, shotty work, and bad communication we’ve experienced with other contractors!

I found these guys to be incredibly easy to work with. Justin showed up on time for the estimate, explained to me how they would tackle the job, and ways to make the job more efficient, and therefore, less expensive. I can be picky with colors, but I'm always open to saving money :)I got 3 estimates and J Brown Painting's was the middle bid. Just based off of how professional Justin was on the phone, his text to confirm our estimate, and how quickly he got me a bid, I could tell these guys were going to be worth the little extra money because they would provide a better service and less headaches for me. So I hired them, and even though they couldn't get to me for 2 months like they told me, they were able to get to me a couple days earlier than promised! Their foreman Robert did a great job cleaning up every day and keeping me in the loop for when they would be done, and making sure I liked the paint job before they left. I am happy to recommend J Brown Painting! Thank you Justin and Robert :))

The experience of working with Justin and his crew could not have been any better. Justin was personable, quick to respond, knowledgeable, and very professional. He was able to get the liability insurance for my condos HOA, where as other prior contractors were not able to fulfill it.My condo came out absolutely phenomenal after they finished painting. The trim came out very crisp and the colors Justin recommended truly transformed my condo. I highly recommend Justin and his company, and look forward to doing business with them again in the future!

Justin, the owner of J Brown Painting, is an extremely professional person. He answered all of our detailed questions, worked with our HOA, and kept his crew safe. His foreman, Robert worked with the team everyday overseeing all the details of our specific painting needs, discussing each portion of the project with his crew and keeping everyone safe. Our building demanded high standards, teamwork, specific painting details which included high railings, trim, doors, fencing, gutters/downspouts, and rooftops. The building looks brand new, absolutely fantastic! We will always use Justin...J Brown Painting and his team anytime we need painting!

They actually showed up, which seems to be rare in the construction industry! I left them the keys and as promised, they got the interior painting done before I moved in to my new house. Justin and his crew may not have rock bottom prices, but we found their work and service to be worth the price. Justin answered the first time I called, gave me an estimate a few days later, and the work started exactly when he said it would. They kept to the promised schedule, used Sherman Williams paint, kept our home extremely tidy, and did a great job of being quiet so we could still work from home. They are also licensed, insured, and bonded (I checked), which made me feel a lot better because we have a 3 story house!

We needed just our eaves painted...two colors. Justin gave us a good price and did a great job! Eaves are a painstaking process to prep and paint. Justin was methodical, paid attention to detail, and made sure to ask questions about things that could be left to interpretation. Excellent job!

By way of a personal referral, Justin painted most of the inside of our first floor. We couldn't have hired a better, more professional painter. Justin ain't the cheapest but if I wanted cheap I would have handed a paint brush to my wife.My wife comes from a family of painters. So she's picky with paint. She looked at Justin's work tonite and said "I sure did pick out some good colors." I said "You're right dear but it was Justin who took those colors and made our walls look great."If you're looking for a good painter, Justin is your guy. Justin and Jeff were so great to work with. When getting the bids Justin was the most responsive. We hired them to paint our deck and cabinets. They were very patient with us during the process since we were not sure on the color for our deck. The end result is great. We knew painting the outside of our 7500 square foot house was going to be a big and tough job, so we got a bunch of bids! Out of all the bids though, we felt Justin and his crew were the most trustworthy, detailed, and hard working. He assured us he would work full, consecutive week days until the job was done. He kept his word. And their daily clean up made it feel like they weren't even here! I would not hesitate to recommend J Brown Painting for a big painting project! Update: As promised, we're working with Justin again to paint the exterior of our house. We got 5 estimates to paint the exterior of our house in San Diego! Justin & Jeff's estimate was the second to lowest, yet included quite a bit more. They were the only company that was able to give me a price AT the estimate, instead of emailing it to me later. I really liked that. In the end, we hired these guys and we couldn't be happier. I should have left this review weeks ago! We chose J. Brown Painting over the other bids we received, for a few reasons: 1) Justin not only came out to do the bid, but he also did the work! We like that. 2) His prices were right in the middle and 3) Justin actually talked us out of painting stuff that didn't really need to be painted..we liked that he only gave us a bid on parts of the house that actually needed to be painted and didn't try to upsell us.Overall, we were thrilled with the work and how quickly and neatly he got it done

You can stop searching, Justin is your go-to guy for anything house painting, window washing, power washing, stucco patching, and even gutter cleaning. We've used him for literally all of these services! At first, we were concerned because he looks so young. But, within 5 minutes of meeting him, we could tell he knew his stuff. We were impressed that he would work 10 hour days and how tansparent he was with his prices, and didn't try to sell us on stuff we didn't actually need. 10/10, would recommend :)
