Update #2: We worked with Justin and his team once again this past June. They painted a new deck we had built. Justin came and gave us a quote we were happy with. Guidance on next steps. A firm start date that didn't slip to the right. They were professional, hard working, tidy, thoughtful and were done in a matter of two days. We love how our deck looks now and we love working with J Brown Painting! It's why I keep going back to him 5+ years in a row!!Update: As promised, we're working with Justin again to paint the exterior of our house. And couldn't be happier. :) Same nice, professional guy doing an exceptional job!It's hard to find a good painter in San Diego. Justin is everything you'd want in a contractor: timely, friendly, dependable, and affordable. And clean! We worked with him to paint the interior of our old home, plus the kitchen cabinets and recently had him clean the windows of our new home. We plan to use him again to paint the inside and exterior of our new home soon too. Highly recommend!

This painting company did almost a major overhaul of our 1959 stucco house. With so much stucco work to do, they did it quickly and professionally. Then they had to paint the entire house with all the trim and window frames. I would definitely hire them again.

We used J Brown Painting to paint our 3200 sq ft. house/fence including stucco and wood. They also did some badly needed stucco repair and some wood repair. We could not be happier with the job that they did.Justin Brown is very professional, courteous, and efficient and has an amazing crew working for him. Justin answered all my questions (and there were many!) and was as pleasant as any contractor I have ever worked with.Additionally, I can't say enough good things about the crew of J Brown Painting.The foreman, Victor, came to the house and explained the order of the painting, including how the prep would get done. When the painters, Carlos and Chilo, came, everyone was on the same page and the painters got to work.Carlos and Chilo are amazing! They were always on time every morning, worked efficiently, quietly, and with tremendous attention to detail. They were always so pleasant and available to answer a question or request.When the house was almost done, two other crew members (Svetlana and Juliana?) came to paint the fence and they did an awesome job.We would highly recommend J Brown Painting and would hire them again without reservation! The house looks brand new!

Team was on time and respectful to our house. Spouse and I work from home and the J Brown team communicated when and where they needed access so we can work around each other. OK, J Brown Painting, Not sure where to begin, but this is the absolute best painter I have ever had. I had many painters before so never realized what a professional paint job could really look like. We started with my kitchen and it turned out so well. We love the color from Sherwin Williams of olympic white and they also did our cabinets swhite as well. It turned out much better than I ever thought was possible. People have commented on the cabinets thinking they are brand new cabinets. We have had the cabinets for over 12 years from IKEA.The next day I called them to paint our family room off the kitchen. Again, superb job. Our kitchen and family room looked very small but once they were finished it really opened up the space and looks much bigger and brighter. I am now having them paint the rest of the house too. Justin is very competitive with his prices. The quality of work is superb. You will be very happy with Justin, Victor and their team of workers!!

Justin and his team did everything they said they would do. They were on time, took proper time to prep the job correctly, and were easy to work with (a special shout out to Elvis). We had what looked like paint overspray on our garage door that was caused by the garage door installer. Even though J Brown didn't cause it, they went the extra mile and figured out how to remove it (thanks Victor!). There was only one surprise (color used on top of drain pipes) and even though most people prefer it done differently, they painted it the way we wanted it, even though it meant extra labor and paint. J Brown was fairly priced and provides excellent value. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Our neighbors have been commenting on how good our house looks!

I contacted Justin and he was incredibly responsive, giving me a quote within a few hours to paint our kitchen cabinets. He did a wonderful job of explaining the process. We were lucky that his team was ready to go the next week painting our cabinets, and we have a lot of them. We had purchased new cabinet doors, and he helped us understand what was needed prior to painting as we were putting on new soft close hinges. When the guys arrived, they were prompt, nice, and very communicative as to the process. They taped everything up well, and hung plastic in both our kitchen and our garage where they were painting the doors. I work from home with 2 dogs, and they made it very easy for me to take them out when needed. It took them 3 days to prep, sand, prime, and put on 2 coats of paint, which is impressive if you've ever painted cabinets before. I would highly recommend Justin and his team!
